What it covers

  • Purchase orders received in full or in part, with a goods-received bridge to the ledger.
  • Supplier bills, with payments and the allocation of each payment to its bills.
  • Batch payment runs that pay several suppliers in one run.
  • Credit and debit notes, refunds and supplier returns.
  • Post-dated cheques to suppliers, with their due dates.
  • Stock received is valued at weighted average cost for each item and location.

How it works

  1. Raise a purchase order for each supplier.
  2. Receive the goods in full or in parts. Each receipt is bridged to the ledger.
  3. Record the supplier's bill, and any credit or debit note or return.
  4. Pay several suppliers in one batch run, and allocate each payment to its bills.
