Sales and purchases in BYTE

Receivables and payables without the spreadsheets. Issue sales invoices, record supplier bills, and follow every payment and credit note until it is settled.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

What it covers

  • Sales invoices, with issue and void. Each invoice has a statutory number for its branch and keeps a print copy from the day it is issued.
  • Supplier bills and payments, with one payment allocated across several bills.
  • Credit notes, debit notes and refunds.
  • Payment terms, instalments, early-payment discounts and post-dated cheques.
  • Batch payment runs to suppliers.
  • Aging reports and customer statements.
  • Quotations, and customer purchase orders with value contracts.

How it works

  1. Record a sale as an invoice, with its tax codes and its branch.
  2. Record payments against the invoice, or allocate one payment across several invoices.
  3. Follow the aging report to see who owes you, and send statements.

Not built yet

  • Sending invoices by email from BYTE is planned.
  • Foreign-currency purchase orders and receipts are planned.
