What does SSByte do?
SSByte is a custom software development and IT consulting company based in Amman, Jordan. Since 2008 we have designed, built, and operated production systems — web platforms, mobile apps, and cloud back-ends — for businesses in financial services, healthcare, insurance, and retail.
Which industries does SSByte specialise in?
We focus on regulated, high-stakes sectors: FinTech and FOREX trading, healthcare and clinical systems, insurance risk and survey platforms, and retail and hospitality (including iPad point-of-sale). Two decades in these domains means we understand the compliance and reliability requirements up front.
Do you develop mobile apps for iOS and Android?
Yes. We build native iOS and Android apps as well as cross-platform applications with Flutter and React Native — for consumers, drivers, and field teams. Shipped examples include Footable and the Kite student-transport app.
Do you provide support and maintenance after launch?
Always. Every system we deliver can be backed by SLA monitoring, incident response, security patching, and continuous improvement. We run what we build rather than handing over a code drop and walking away.
Where is SSByte located, and do you work remotely?
Our office is on Wasfi Al-Tal Street in Amman, Jordan, and we deliver software for clients across the region and beyond. Engagements run remotely with on-site sessions when a project needs them.
