What it covers

  • Statement import from CSV files, with the columns mapped once for each bank.
  • Matching statement lines to ledger entries, and marking them cleared.
  • Adjustments for bank fees and other lines, with a completeness check.
  • Outstanding checks and deposits in transit carried into the next period.
  • A period bridge between the book balance and the bank balance, with the difference shown.
  • Several bank accounts, each reconciled in its own ledger account.

How it works

  1. Import the month's statement from a CSV file, and map its columns.
  2. Match each statement line to the ledger. Record a fee or other item as an adjustment.
  3. Carry open checks and deposits in transit into the next period.
  4. Check the period bridge: the book balance, the bank balance and the difference.

  • Ask for a demo: import a statement, match it and see the bridge.
  • Ask which statement columns your bank provides, so the mapping is ready before you start.
  • Ask how periods are reconciled in order, and what happens if one is skipped.
